This is Dicky — a friendly, resilient little dog who’s already faced more than most of us could imagine. He was found abandoned in a cardboard box on the side of the road, scared and alone. A volunteer at the Dog & Cat Rescue Koh Samui, located his former owner, who admitted he couldn’t care for Dicky after his devastating accident left him with a serious spinal injury.

Now safe at the shelter, Dicky needs urgent spinal surgery that could hopefully change his life. While there's no guarantee, this operation may give him the chance to walk again or at least significantly reduce the pain he lives with every day.

The cost of the surgery is €1,000, and we’re reaching out for help — every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to giving Dicky the life he deserves.

After surgery, we plan to move Dicky to a more suitable facility, where he’ll have the space to use a wheelchair if needed and enjoy a better quality of life.
