Urgent Fundraising Appeal for Tawanda: A Young Boy’s Struggle Against Brain Tumor

Tawanda, a 13-year-old boy, has faced unimaginable hardship in his young life. As an only child, his journey has been filled with pain, loss, and struggles that no child should ever endure. Tragically, Tawanda lost his mother when he was only 3-years old, and since then, he has been solely cared for by his father, who, unfortunately, is currently unemployed.

Despite these challenges, Tawanda’s resilience shone through, and he attended school up to Grade 2, dreaming of a brighter future. However, his dreams came to a halt when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This diagnosis has not only robbed him of his education but has also caused immense physical and emotional suffering.

As if this burden wasn’t heavy enough, Tawanda and his father’s home was recently destroyed in a fire, leaving them devastated, homeless, and forced to live in an old dilapidated, abandoned house. This living situation further compounds their difficulties and creates additional challenges for Tawanda’s already frail health.

Tawanda is a young boy with a strong spirit, but he needs our help. His father, though loving and dedicated, cannot manage the overwhelming costs of his Surgery, post surgery treatments and their day-to-day needs of their survival. They have no access to proper healthcare, no stable income, and no safe place to call home.

Therefore we are urgently seeking donations to provide for Tawanda’s Surgery and all medical treatments, as well as support for their basic needs – including a safe, stable home and resources to allow Tawanda to continue his education. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a palpable difference in his life.
