To start my story, I’ll say I’m not one to ask for help. I always have tried to find a way to make things work for myself and my family. I realize in life sometimes we become very vulnerable, and at times we need to release our stubborn ego and ask for the genuine help we need. My family moved into a house 6 months ago, and we are experiencing an intense encounter with bed bugs.

We have gotten rid of most of our furniture due to a lot being upholstery or hot spot locations for activity. We have put in well over a thousand dollars just for some prep expenses, that is not including any new furniture or the treatment from a professional. I’m 6 months pregnant, and had to get rid of some of the furniture items needed for when baby Max comes along. I thought I could handle this, but I’ve come to the realization that my family alone cannot carry this weight.

Anything donated is appreciated so much. Anything will make the biggest difference to my family and I to move on and recover from this. All we want to do is get back to the excitement of the holidays for my 6 year old son, and the excitement for our new baby boy. Thank you so much for reading my story.
