We are devastated to share the heartbreaking news of the sudden and tragic passing of Zsuzsanna Banfi — a deeply loved mother, daughter, and friend.

Last Saturday evening, Zsuzsanna suffered a catastrophic brain bleed. Despite the incredible efforts of the medical team at John Radcliffe Hospital, she could not be saved. Her passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Zsuzsanna was originally from Hungary, and aside from her elderly parents — including her father, who is currently in a care home following a recent stroke — she had no other family in England. She was the sole provider for her loved ones here, leaving behind her devoted mother and father Zoltane Banfi and Zoltan Banfi and her three beautiful children: Vickie (15), Vanessa (9), and Oliver (4).

Zsuzsanna was a hardworking, selfless woman who poured her heart into caring for her children and supporting both of her parents. Her quiet strength, warmth, and kindness touched the lives of everyone around her, and her absence is felt deeply.

In the midst of their grief, the family is now facing extreme financial hardship. Not only must they plan a funeral, but they are also being forced to leave their family home, as the landlord is selling the property. They are navigating overwhelming loss with very little support or stability.
