I am Rebecca a close friend of the Clay Roberts family and wanted to set up this GoFundMe page for Clay Roberts to help support Clay. Clay and his family are looking at treatment outside of Las Vegas, Nevada “traditional cancer treatment”. Surgery, Radiation, and Chemotherapy are not options available to Clay. Clay’s cancer has metastasized creating stage 4 cancer tumors throughout his body including tumors in his brain that will be the most aggressive. Clay has done extensive research and has found new medications, and treatments and has found proven cures for his type of cancer at facilities outside of Nevada in San Diego & Texas, however, time is critical.

Clay lost his late wife of 30 years to cancer 13 years ago. He also survived a battle with his colon cancer about 10 years ago and has been doing well until it metastasized. Clay has been battling cancer since early 2022. He has been hospitalized five separate times, most recently from a fall that was caused by low blood pressure. Happily, we got him back home on Sunday, January 29, 2023.

We are racing against the clock as we do not want his cancer to spread anymore and are working on getting Clay to one of these facilities as soon as possible. But medical insurance will not cover expenses such as travel, lodging, food etc. This GoFundMe was created for friends who want to help Clay BEAT his cancer and meet the goals to cover some of these ongoing expenses.

Clay knows that he will have to travel back and forth for a while for treatment and the road ahead will not be easy. But he is resolved to do everything possible to BEAT this. All information gathered during his journey to BEAT CANCER will be getting those shared with you here and perhaps they will help someone you love.
