Emergency Surgery for Jake

Hi everyone. Today, my brother and I learned that our dog Jake has experienced a ruptured gall bladder and is at high risk of a bacterial infection due to the fluid. To prevent the rupture from getting worse, he will be having an emergency surgery to have his gall bladder removed and is currently being monitored at the hospital. This has all happened very suddenly and unexpectedly—we were quoted roughly $15,000 for the surgery cost.
