A Mother’s Plea for Help
Donation protected
I never thought I’d have to post something like this on social media. I’ve always tried to keep things private, especially when it comes to my children. But at this point, I’m swallowing my pride and sharing this from the deepest part of my heart — because my daughter needs help.
Many of you know me as someone who’s always ready to lend a hand, someone you can message anytime if you need something. But now, it’s my turn to ask.
With heavy hearts, we want to share that my 16-year-old daughter, Maria Isabel Alexandria P. Dizor — known to many as Isy or Sabel — has been diagnosed with a Mediastinal Mass, suspected to be Lymphoma. Initial findings point to Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Isabel is an incoming Grade 12 student at MSU. She has big dreams of going to college and building a future — dreams that are now being threatened by this illness. But if there’s one thing I know about my daughter, it’s that she is kind, strong, and full of fight.
Right now, she is undergoing a series of tests and will soon face intensive treatment. We are trying our best to stay strong for her, and I know she is doing the same — but the financial burden is already overwhelming. The cost of lab work, hospital admissions, medications, and future treatments is simply beyond what we can handle alone.
So with all humility, I am asking for your help. Any support you can offer — whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or even just sharing this post — will mean so much to us.
From our family to yours, thank you so much for your love, kindness, and support during this very difficult time. Please keep Isabel in your prayers as she continues this fight.
May God bless us all.
