Bob was born to Wayne and Carolyn (Wilson) Gelinski on December 15, 1967 in Mt. Clemens, MI. Known affectionately by his friends as “Moose” he was an active member of the Grayling community, always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Moose had a big heart and left an indelible impression on everyone who knew him. He loved playing softball in the local league, smoking meat on his grill, and being there for friends and family. A true patriot, he took great pride in serving his country refueling military aircraft at the Grayling Army Airfield.
Bob is survived by his daughter Krystyna Gelinski, mother Carolyn Gelinski, sister Dawn Gelinski, brother Mike (Monica) Hettinger, step-father Mike Hettinger, and nieces and nephews Nicholas, Matthew, Victoria, and Mikayla. He is preceded in death by his father Wayne Walter Gelinski Sr. and brother Wayne Walter Gelinski Jr.
Visitation will take place Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home from 3-8 pm. A Celebration of Bob's Life will follow at Hanson Hills Recreation Area.
