Hello everyone. My sister Katie Ellison and her family have been through a lot in the past year. She found out she was pregnant towards the end of summer, and soon after she found out she was expecting twins. Her original due date was May 5th. When she was referred to her fetal specialist she found out that the babies had Twin to twin transfusion syndrome. TTTS is when the babies don't share the same amount of the placenta. One had too much fluid and one had too little. During the week of Thanksgiving Katie and Matt traveled to Cincinnati to have a laser surgery that would fix the TTTS.  It worked very well and she found out they would add two more beautiful little GIRLS to their family. From that point on, She was on  bed rest.  When she was 20 weeks along, Harpers water broke.  At the beginning of January she moved into the hospital. They needed to make sure she didn't get an infection and that the babies weren't under any stress. February 6th, the infection started to  set in and they moved her along for a c-section. And at 10:10 we welcomed Harper Grace and Adaline Hope. They weighed 2lbs 4oz, and 2lbs. They were born at 27 weeks and it's been a very rough ride. They are both so beautiful and have such a will to fight! Adaline is doing well and was able to get her breathing tube out and now she just has a cpap, and she is breathing room air like we do. But Harper was having a lot of lung problems. They were not developed enough. And Today, the 7th, our beautiful Harper Grace went to be with the lord. I know that we will always have the most special guardian angel that we could ever ask for. We all love you so much Harper. During this time, I don't want them to have to worry about any financial issues. Any help is appreciated, as well as prayers, good thoughts, and positive vibes.
