Medical bills, housing, car repair

Last September I celebrated 25 years clean, & shortly thereafter my life started to unravel financially, & also physically.   I've been homeless for a few months now, staying @my cousins' (thank God for their compassion & charity) 50 miles from where I work.   I have a good job that I like, but medical issues & ultimately surgery have kept me out many days.  Friday my car's engine blew. 
It's progressed to this gut-wrenching point: I have no choice but to publicly advertise my circumstances & ask for help.  (I do currently receive a whopping $16 food stamp benefit, in case you think I didn't first go to the proper agency.)  I know these challenges will make me better somehow; I do my best every day.
