Corey Timmons is a 34 year-old husband and father who lives in Lamar, MO. He began suffering from Pancreatitis in 1994.
In 2004 Corey was diagnosed with Chronic Pancreatitis. He had a surgery performed in 2005 on his pancreas that made him an insulin-dependent diabetic. At that time the doctor told him he would be doing good to live another 20 years.
Eleven tough years has past since then and time is ticking. The pain caused by this disease has left Corey disabled. Not only can he not do all of the fun family stuff that most of us take for granted but he cannot work a full time job. He's unable to afford his family’s financial needs and the specialized medical care that would help him manage his condition.
The good news is that disability is suppose to start in August which will help him care for his family financially while he seeks out the medical care he needs. Disability will also make him eligible for Medicare which will help him pay for the medical care he currently cannot afford.
The bad news is that from now until August Corey's financial situation appears impossible. His family has helped as much as possible but he needs help from more of us. He's unable to afford day-to-day living expenses and the medicines he needs to live with Chronic Panacreatitis. He takes 13 medications daily plus insulin shots.
He needs financial support immediately and through August. His daily living expenses and medical care for this 5 month stretch is approximately $17,500.
Let's come together and meet this need for an amazing man, husband, and father. With our help we can get him to August.
Corey, his wife Kaylee, his daughter Kaylynn (10), and his sons Brevon (8) and Caden (1) are incredibly grateful for you taking your time to consider helping him. If you are able, please donate some money and share this fundraiser.
