My is Biniam Gebru, a U.S. Citizen originally from Ethiopia, residing in Los Angeles, California.
I’m the organizer of this GofundMe fundraiser, founder and president of Arhibu Wollo friendship Inc. This non-profit organization’s mission is to support an Orphanage and the needy in Dessie, Ethiopia.
Arhibu Wollo Friendship Inc. Was contacted by one of the Board members of the Boru Meda Hospital because they were aware of our charity work in that region and asked for our support in this difficult time to ensure that the doctors,nurses and health workers get the necessary supplies which will help them provide the needed medical service to the community.
The money we collected through GoFunfMe will be sent directly to Ethiopia into Boru Meda Hospital’s bank account, a hospital in Dessie, Ethiopia, a Covid-19 Treatment center to help them purchase PPE for all Doctors, Nurses & Health workers who fight on front line in that hospital.
Onec we have withdrawn the money from GoFundMe and deposited in our non-profit, Arhibu Wollo Friendship Inc’s. bank account, we will then wire transfer directly into Boru Meda Hospital bank Account.
