Scotland the Brave

I'm raising money on behalf of my friend Rachel Johnstone, someone who has worked hard and struggled to help others. Now she's looking to help herself gain a higher education, seeking to be a clinical psychologist so she can continue to help others in a greater capacity. 

"When I go to the University of Stirling, I plan to study Psychology. I really want to give back and help women and children who have been exposed to traumatic events and assist them to a happy and healthy future.

I believe that University of Stirling will help me achieve my life goal of starting a non-profit mental health resource that will help people navigate their way past the trauma."

Those are her reasons in her own words and I feel compelled to share it with you all. She has gone through an unexpected circumstance and a large portion of the money she had saved for this leap of faith has been spent on an emergency living situation. Now there is little time left and I want to help her reach her dream, her dream to help others.

Every little bit counts and is appreciated. All funds will be used towards tuition, dorm fees, books, labs, etc. Along side general donations she is looking for any who are interested in being a sponsor, who are able to help on a monthly basis, or one time donors who would like to pick a category to invest in.

For the next 90 days I want to set a worldwide chain reaction. With a goal of around 50k, we want to reach over 5000 people. If we reach 5000 people and each person donates $10 we can raise the funds. So by donating $10, $100, or $1000, whatever you feel called to give will bring her closer to obtaining the education required to provide life changing tools for children and adults that have been victimized.

UPDATE 05/16/2019

As of 05/14/2019 Rachel has been awarded the University of Sterling scholarship from Across the Pond for the total of £3000 ($3800 USD)! As such I'll be deducting this amount from the goal. The video that won the scholarship is the one on this page for those who care to look at it for themselves. With a dream and passion to fuel the drive, anything can be achieved!  I would like to thank those for donating, liking, and sharing this so far. Keep sharing, and giving!
