Help for Dougie

Hello my name is Abbie and I’m fundraising for my 4 year old doggo called Dougie.

Dougie was found alone and abandoned on the streets almost a year ago and we couldn’t not rescue him. We began a long rehabilitation process for him and watched the life, joy, and trust fill his eyes once more. But before we could take him home, we tragically found out he had cancer and needed an operation. Luckily, after the incredible work of an amazing vet, he was back to his cheeky young self in no time, bounding around fields full of beans and even celebrated a wonderful Christmas surrounded by a loving family for the first time in the 4 years of his life.

Heartbreakingly, a few weeks ago we noticed some lumps on Dougie and found out his cancer is back. In only a short few weeks Dougie has had to have 2 complex major surgeries, which have had complications afterwards and is due to need more very soon.

That’s where we need your help! Dougie’s insurance does not cover these surgeries and they are costing us a significant amount which is racking up by the thousands. Of course we will do anything we can for our good boy, who is just a baby but we are struggling to pay these fees. We’re asking for any donations big or small or if you’re unable to donate please share around to help us!

We’re hoping and praying Dougie will make a full recovery but unfortunately he still has a long way to go. We are trying everything to help him and prove to him that there is kindness in the world, despite all he has been through, so any help is extremely appreciated. Thank you so much. Xxx
