Covering Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Hi everyone, with Mischa's (my white husky) sudden decline into poor health since March I had to put my medical expenses for my autoimmune on the back burner. My focus on the past month was to help her in any way that I could to prolong her life without dampening her quality of life. She was my medical alert dog and she saved me a good many times throughout the years and I owed it to her to try and do the same. Sadly I had to put her to sleep to ease her pain and obviously if put in the same position, I would do it again however I've put myself at risk by not being able to get the medications that I need to keep myself stable. I've been able to side step the insurance by paying out of pocket but this next month is going to put me in danger of not keeping it in check. I've fought insurance companies for years to try and get things covered (right now it's MRIs, physical therapy, other specialists, you get the drift). I just need some help to get back on track as I am at risk for any of the secondary problems under the Ehler-Danlos Syndrome umbrella to trigger a domino effect with neurological (non-epileptic seizure) gastrointestinal (uncontrolled vomiting/reflux) or cardiac (P.O.T.S.) Any help you can provide no matter how small means the world to me. I'm still very much broken hearted over the loss of my girl...I just wasn't thinking when everything happened.
