Chadd Thurmon and Kristi Burton are a cornerstone of love and kindness in our community. In response to a recent tragedy, we are organizing this fundraiser to ease the financial burden of medical care for their beloved son, Devin. Read below for a message from Chadd and Kristi.

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

We come to you with heavy hearts and a hopeful spirit as we navigate a challenging chapter in our lives. Our beloved 14-year-old Devin recently faced an interpersonal struggle, leading to a critical suicide attempt. We are devastated but also profoundly grateful that Devin is still with us and showing signs of improvement.

Devin's journey is far from over. The road to recovery will be long and filled with hurdles, but every small step forward is a testament to his strength and the love surrounding him. In these trying times, our primary focus is on Devin's medical care and the comprehensive therapy he will need to heal, both physically and emotionally.

In order to focus all of our attention and energy on Devin's healing, we will both be taking time off of work.
