Shy came to us as a patient with a young lady rescuer who found her by the side of the road. Coral noted immediately that she was not able to walk normally, her rear limbs were moving weakly--they could move but not bear weight and scheduled with us right away. We suspect she had been thrown from a car. We found on x-ray that Shy has a fractured hip and will require surgery to remove the ball and socket of the hip to be able to walk normally in the future. Shy is sweet and purrs nonstop despite the cruelty handed her. We are looking for donations to help Coral pay for the surgery for this unexpected Christmas Kitty. We are hoping that Shy will be ringing in the New Year with Coral happy and healthy and for years to come.
