UPDATE: Thanks to the help of prior donations, we were able to significantly reduce the financial load of the jump to Division 2. In our first season in Division 2, we secured the club's first EVER berth in the Division 2 regional tournament, and subsequently, the program's first bid to Nationals in Cedar Rapids, IA. We could use your help in paying for entry and transportation expenses to Iowa, and to continue to make our Division 2 dreams a reality.
So here is our story,
A bunch of hard working hockey players from all over came together to play roller hockey for Syracuse University. Last season we participated in division 4 in the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association. Throughout the season our team went undefeated until a devestating loss in the championship game. Although the season did not end as planned with a trophy, the team bid for and recieved a chance to play division 2 in the upcoming 2015-2016 season. Unfortunately there is a steep increase in costs overall for this season ahead of us. Being a club we are responsible for our own travel expenses and all league fees and dues reciveing minmal support from the school. The prices are almost doubled for us and is certainly a hinderance for many of our players. Hoping for a chance to keep our dreams of competing in divison 2 any help or support would be tremendously appreciated.
