Help us with the costly eviction of Tim the tumor! Tim was discovered after Laura had been having issues with her memory and constant migraines. She went in for a CT scan on Tuesday July 14th where they discovered a golf ball sized tumor in her brain. Luckily, there are no tumors elsewhere. Sadly, Laura and her husband Chip do not have insurance at this time.
Laura is a very caring person, and she has worked at the Bristol Renaissance Faire for nearly a decade where she has photographed many special moments with cast members and patrons. A fun fact about Laura is that during her career in photography, she was offered a job touring with Penn and Teller. She turned them down so that she could start a family with Chip Gardner. Laura Gardner has married to Chip for nearly 29 years. They have had 3 children together. Jeremy, Emily, and Luke.
She has been a great help to our community, she has helped with local chairities such as Acts of Kindness. She is a regular part of the Janesville Renaissance faire every year, which gives back to the community.
Laura Is having her surgery on Tuesday, July 21st. They'll start early in the morning and aim to finish around 2:00 in the afternoon. The nature of the tumor is not yet known, and won't be for a bit of time after surgery. She'll spend at least a few days in the hospital after the surgery, and we're sure we can expect a lot of follow up appointments. The next step is unknown until we know the nature of the tumor. Regardless, we know this whole ordeal is very expensive, and it is very unfortunate that Chip and Laura do not have insurance right now.
Therefore, all of the Gardners would like to ask you for your help. If you could spare any money at all, we would be eternally grateful to you. CT scans, MRIs, hospital stays, and neurosurgery don't come cheap.
So again:
Please help us evict Tim the Tumor.
