My Mother's Health

Friends, family, acquaintances, and even strangers I ask for your help, I ask that we come together to pray for my family that is in great need here today. I ask that you say a prayer any chance you get for my family that is in desperate need of many blessings, answers, solutions, and cures.

Angelina is a wonderful daughter, mother, wife, grandma, aunt, sister, and friend to many. Who has faced many obstacles throughout life not being afraid of putting up a fight. She has always come out strong with her head held high to keep going on this journey we call life.

Although she has always fought hard and strong today she faces one of the toughest battles yet and I ask you to help her fight this fight. Her illness started a few months back with swelling and pain in her leg. She didn’t think too much of it and shook off the pain as much as she could. One day the swelling and became too much she decided to go to the doctor and get it checked out. Nothing major was found so they sent her home with meds that would help with pain and reduce the swelling. The days went by and the swelling seemed to get better only for a few days.

The swelling and pain had returned and even worse than the first time. They decided to take her to the emergency room to get looked out, with very few words being said they rushed her by ambulance to the hospital in Lincoln where they discovered that her leg and lungs were filled with blood clots. The news was devastating but we were all optimistic that with great care and medicine the blood clots would gradually diminish.

A week past and unfortunately she was rushed back to the hospital with very little answers and no explanations. No new blood clots seemed to be forming. So with no answers or more to do they sent her to Omaha at UNMC but her heart pumping is getting weaker by the day. The doctors have run test after test and have been unsuccessful at finding the underlying issue of the causes of her heart failure. It is possible that even though she could qualify for a LVAD device or for a heart transplant, with no insurance or medicaid this possiblities can diminsh and become very difficult.
Doctors have told her that without medication her heart can stop at anytime.

Angelina is a mother of four young children at home. Under the circumstances she is unable to work, her husband being the only one working and the medical bills piling up the expenses of food, bills, and traveling are becoming impossible to cover. Her daughter a mother of two young ones, has left her job to help her mother as needed. They are a WONDERFUL family that are always willing to help others and for that reason loved by many. All are in desperate need of your help. Any money that is donated will be used to cover the expenses that are incurred throughout this difficult time. Any little bit truly, truly goes a long way. And if you are unable to donate we ask that you please say a prayer for this family.
