Hello everyone, this is the last thing we ever thought we would have to do but my parents need our help more than ever. Most of you have met my amazing mother as a result of her teaching your amazing kiddos, through church, through family…my mom doesn’t know a stranger. My mother, to this day, continues to teach. Not only is her whole heart dedicated to her students, but the reality is that there is a financial necessity. With her being out of work for the next 6-8 weeks, their financial situation is dire. We found out yesterday that she has not ONE but two fractured legs and cannot bear weight on either leg for up to 6 weeks, if not more. FMLA has been filed which provides job security, but not a paycheck. My husband and I are doing the most we possibly can to be of assistance but with 4 kids and one income, there’s not much we can do. Asking for help is not customary for our family but I know that God has great plans for my mom and will not leave our sides during our time of need. Many have asked me how they can be of help, this is truly it. Thank you for all of the prayers, messages and support. We are blessed to have you all in our lives.

Hola a todos, esto es lo último que pensamos que tendríamos que hacer, pero mis padres necesitan nuestra ayuda más que nunca. La mayoría de ustedes han conocido a mi increíble madre como resultado de que enseñó a sus increíbles hijos, a través de la iglesia, a través de la familia... mi madre no conoce a un extraño. Mi madre, hasta el día de hoy, sigue enseñando. No solo está todo su corazón dedicado a sus estudiantes, sino que la realidad es que hay una necesidad financiera. Con ella sin trabajo durante las próximas 6-8 semanas, su situación financiera es grave. Ayer descubrimos que no tiene UNA, sino dos piernas fracturadas y no puede soportar el peso en ninguna de las piernas durante un máximo de 6 semanas, si no más. Se ha presentado la FMLA que proporciona seguridad laboral, pero no un cheque de pago. Mi marido y yo estamos haciendo todo lo que podemos para ser de ayuda, pero con 4 hijos y un ingreso, no hay mucho que podamos hacer. Pedir ayuda no es costumbre para nuestra familia, pero sé que Dios tiene grandes planes para mi madre y no se irá de nuestro lado durante nuestro tiempo de necesidad. Muchos me han preguntado cómo pueden ser de ayuda, esto es realmente todo. Gracias por todas las oraciones, mensajes y apoyo. Tenemos la suerte de tenerlos a todos en nuestras vidas.
