All Ireland FIFA 20 Tournament for our front line

All-Ireland FIFA 20 Charity Tournament

We are hugely excited to announce our All-Ireland FIFA 20 Charity Tournament featuring leading inter-county hurling and Gaelic football stars from across Ireland! Have you been missing getting behind your County as they do battle with your biggest rivals?? Well now is your chance to watch our GAA stars go to battle in a game of FIFA 20, and all for a great cause!!

This tournament has been created by Joanne O’Riordan of The Irish Times, The Gaelic Players Association and Insomnia Games Festival with the objective of raising much needed funds for our unbelievable frontline healthcare workers during this hugely challenging time. We also have the super talented The Republic of Players who are managing the administration and live streaming of the tournament so we can all watch these epic FIFA 20 battles live online!

The way this works is simple – hurling and football stars from around the country will be facing off in an Online FIFA 20 Tournament that is viewable by the public (live) on May 01 – 03 at the links below. Along the way, we hope to raise valuable funds from both the general public and supportive businesses and communities, with proceeds going directly to frontline healthcare workers fighting the Covid-19 crisis.

Here’s the information you need to see Ireland’s GAA stars battle it out to be crowned All Ireland FIFA 20 Charity Champion:

1. Each GAA star will be randomly allocated a Champions League team that they must compete with. The random draw makes it as fair as possible for all players

2. An online draw of fixtures will be held on Thursday 23rd April 2020, with the time and date of each fixture published on this page so that the general public can watch the matches streamed live!

3. Live matches will be streamed to the following channels:

Insomnia Gaming Festival YouTube Channel

Insomnia Dublin Gaming Festival Facebook Page

4. Stay up to date with all the tournament news, fixtures and results by following the Insomnia Games Festival Facebook and Twitter pages.

And most importantly! Please be sure to donate to our chosen charity in order to help our frontline healthcare workers continue to battle the Covid-10 crisis in Ireland.
