On August 18th, Kristina Kullman faced a sudden medical emergency and was diagnosed with a large brain cancer compressing critical parts of her brain. She was urgently transferred to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where she underwent an eight-hour surgery that successfully removed 75% of the tumor.

After 12 days of intensive treatment and rehabilitation, Kristina is now home, being cared for by her family. Before this life-changing diagnosis, she lived independently and worked as a dedicated teacher. Teaching has always been her calling, and her long-term goal is to return to the classroom—where she can continue shaping and inspiring the lives of future generations.

For now, the focus is on fighting this cancer as aggressively as possible. Kristina and her three children face a long road ahead, filled with countless appointments and travel between the Twin Cities and Rochester over the coming year. Our next chapter includes radiation, chemotherapy, rehabilitation, and possible further surgery. The medical expenses, travel costs, and time away from work place a tremendous burden on our family.
