Hi everyone,my name is Joy Bowers and I'm from a community called Goby in St Catherine which was recently devastated by hurricane Melissa. Many families, including my beloved mother,have lost their homes,livestock and everything they have worked all their lives to achieve.

I am raising funds to assist my mother and as many people as I can to rebuild their homes. Your donations will be used to purchase food and essential building materials such as cement and blocks so that these people can have a roof over their heads as soon as possible as many of them are in shelters and makeshift homes.

Many people feel indespair right now. Please help me to give them hope to rebuild their lives and get back on their feet.
