We set up this fundraiser on behalf of my little brother Steven, who is currently 10 years old. 

On October 4th, our father, Leandro Jourdain, a U.S. Navy Veteran and resident of Waterbury, CT, passed away after losing his battle to cancer. For years he struggled, he put up quite the fight. His passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts, yet we find comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain. He leaves behind a son, Steven, currently just 10 years old. Steven was his everything, they spent every day together. They cared for each other unconditionally in the most loving of ways. It is this love that leads us to reach out in hopes that we can help Steven and his mother secure funds to help pay house bills, buy groceries, and ensure Steven has what he needs in order to continue thriving (Straight A Student!). Steven's mother is currently seeking work, she is unemployed given that she was caring for Leandro during his last stage of Cancer. Family and friends are doing everything possible to help and hope that with your donation we can close any financial gaps that are needed in the coming months.
