In May, my nephew Will was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He had the tumor removed, and a few weeks later, the pathology report showed it did not spread! Unfortunately, his type of cancer is embryonal carcinoma with lymphovascular invasion present. What this means is that his cancer has a fifty percent rate of coming back. To get this percentage down to a 1% chance, he is going to do a round of chemotherapy starting August 11th.

Will is starting his last year of college at UMD this fall and is majoring in chemistry. He had to take a month off after surgery and will take time off during chemotherapy. He has been trying to work two jobs to pay off medical costs and to pay for rent each month. Will is an amazing man and is loved by so many. We are praying for the best outcome and know God’s hand has been with him this entire journey.
