Dear Community,
For those of you who know Deidre, you know the incredible degree to which she cares deeply for those around her and the many ways, big and small, she offers support, guidance, and care to the people in her life. This page is an opportunity for us to come together and provide her with financial support in a time of transition and difficulty as she shows up for her mom and her family physically and emotionally.
Deidre's mama has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and her prognosis is several months of living. Deidre will be taking a leave of absence from her job in Missouri to go home to California in the beginning of August to be with her mom and family in this important time. This presents a financial challenge for Deidre in the need to continue to pay for rent, student loans, and airfare while not working. As such, Deidre will graciously receive donations made to help cover the cost of these expenses to ease the financial burden of the transitions happening during this time.
Any amount you feel able to donate will be warmly welcomed and much appreciated!
