Nature Berry Farm is a small, modest, family owned poultry farm in Macedon, NY. We sell baby chicks and started poultry to upstate NY. Jim is known for his passion for chickens and his love for educating young and old on the joys of raising and caring for chickens. We have been a farm for over 25 years and have built an excellent reputation. Our website natureberryfarm.com describes our business.
Our farm believes in free range, cage free caring for our birds.
On July 10, 2015 at 4am we had an explosion in our chick shed resulting in 100% destruction of the shed and the 300+ chicks inside of it. The greenhouse nearby had the covering melted off by the flames. Because of insurance glitches, we are getting very little to help with the purchase of a new shed and to fix the greenhouse.
We really thought long and hard about asking for any donations because it's hard for us to accept any help. We have received so many expressions of love and support that have meant the world to us. Nature Berry Farm and what we do seems to be valued by many people. Any contributions to a new shed will be accepted ad appreciated.
