Hi, my name is Adriel, I would like to introduce you to my Dad.
Douglas Tuthill is a retired Chief from the U.S. Navy, Dad dedicated 22 years to serving the country that he loves so much. After retiring from the Navy he began his second career as an over the road truck driver. Last year, after 20 years of driving, he was forced to retire.
In May of 2020 Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Treatments started on September 11, 2020, on June 6, three days after my parents 43rd wedding anniversary, we got the news that we have been dreading for the last year. “The treatments aren’t working”. Dad is now home under the care of Hospice. In a very short time Dad will be going home to be with the Lord.
Douglas is my Mom, Anne’s, high school sweetheart. They were married June 3, 1978. They have 3 children, Adriel, Michael, and Garrett, daughter in law, Crystal and 6 beautiful grandchildren. Dad has always made his focus, his family, providing for us and sacrificing to ensure that we were always provided for.
I am now asking that you help us do the same for him. My parents currently live in Kentucky and my Dad would like to be buried at home in New York. This is going to be quite costly and to help ease that extra stress I am asking for help in supporting the man that has always supported us.
