Terri Pileggi-Marcoux Fund Raiser

I am writing today to ask if you can help a friend, sister, wife, and Mother of two. Terri Pileggi-Marcoux has been diagnosed with Neuro Mylitis Optica (NMO) a rear autoammune disease with lesions on her brain and optic nerve. Terri has also been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It started in June of 2013 when she temporally went blind and was suffering from anxiety, depression, outbreaks of rage, and fear. Symptoms became worse over time. Physically cripling her, memory loss, headaches, speech difficulty, bladder and bowel problems, this is just to name a few of the problem Terri is dealing with. She was not diagnosed until August of 2014 and treatment is very limited for NMO. The MS treatment does not help. This disease is very agressive and she has suffered severe deterioration.

A graduate of North Rockland High School class of 1992. Grew up in Haverstraw and currently lives with her husband Doug, son Bobby, and daughter Amanda in Tomkins Cove NY. Terri worked for T.J. McGowans Funeral Home for many years. Also worked for a food brokerage company until she became to ill.

This fund raiser is to help the Marcoux family pay outstanding hospital bills, purchase handicapped equipment, new and ongoing medical expenses, monthly home expenses, and yearly property tax on home. Doug is taking care of Terri full time. He was also badly injured years ago when he has hit by a drunk driver. Which limits his abilities to work. Terri was the care taker of the family. Now it is time for all of her friends and family to take care of Terri.
