Goal Amount Update: I am so close! I received a major chunk from a very generous donor and have adjusted the goal amount to $2500. I have $HUNDRED) to go. Thank you to everyone who has helped! *a donor fell through so the amount has been adjusted that i had counted in a promised donation.
Hi, I found out today the boys will no longer receive benefits under me as their homeschool is not considered an educational institution even though they are nationally accredited. They were supposed to be covered until they graduate (12/2024) even though they turned 18 on 12/04/2023). Austin has started looking for a job and Gavin has one that will start at the end of January. Neither one of them have work history or drive yet (insurance is way too high). I will be the one taking Austin to and from work (when he finds a job and he has been working hard on it!) and Gavin can move in with his best friend's family (which is shattering me) and ride back and forth with his friend to and from work.
I did not see this coming at all. My mortgage is usually $1271 per month but I signed up for a repayment plan with my lender and have four payments of $2252 for four months. I can get out of the plan if I can repay the $4500 and my payments will go back down to $1271 per month. I can make the major bills work with a mortgage payment of $1271.
We will be homeless if I can't figure something out. I've looked into the fast sell places and they at best offer half the value of my home and with my mortgage total balance of $95k to be paid off I don't have much of anything to find us a place to live.
I am asking with everything I have for your help. I honestly have no other options.
My health is another issue, a major issue. I am chronically ill and have had many spine surgeries and found out during my 17 day hospital stay in December I have tumors inside the bones of my thoracic spine. They appear benign but appear to be an additional source of my inability to walk or stand for more than a minute. I meet with my spine surgeon on January 10th and if more spine surgeries are in my future I just don't even know what to do.
Please help us not become homeless. I can provide documents to anyone that would like to see them.
I just don't know what to do anymore. I am desperate for help.
