Nolan is an incredible, active, and athletic 10 year old boy. He is beyond tough, but is facing his greatest challenge yet. Since the age of 4, Nolan has been fighting severe Aplastic Anemia. He has gone through multiple trips to Riley Hospital and numerous treatments at Memorial Hospital. His treatments are no longer working and will be getting a bone marrow transplant in the coming weeks. Nolan is currently fighting through long days of chemo and will need radiation as well. He will be away from his family, friends, and school for at least the next 4 months.
His parents Shannon and Amy have been inspirational. They have Never asked for a thing. Shannon is taking leave from his job to spend the next 4 months at Riley Hospital to be by Nolan's side every step of the way. Amy will be traveling back and forth from South Bend to Indianapolis to care for their daughter, Mya, and overlook operations at her buisiness.
This family is one of the toughest families you will ever meet. They have stayed positive the entire journey and faced the many challenges as a strong unit.
Although they have never and will never ask for a thing, the travel, medical, food, and overall life change of putting work on hold has presented its own financial challenges. Please consider helping this dynamic family with your prayers, donations, and thoughts. This family, and especially Nolan, have faced more than most of us will an entire lifetime and done so with great courage.
