Hello,

  My name is John Parrish. I am from Marianna, Florida. As you all know hurricane Michael came through the panhandle of Florida. My mother lost her home to an enormous hickory tree that came crashing through the roof of her living room where my family was riding out the storm. Her house is a complete loss. This was the home where she raised all three of us kids by herself with the help.of our step dad, Mike. I am stuck in California on official military orders and I cannot leave. I am trying to help raise some money to help my family in Florida. 
   They are finally able to leave due to a HUGE effort from friends and family as well as a local road cleanup crew that came in 3 days after the hurricane hit. Everyone worked tirelessly to free them so that they could get to fresh water and food. There is still a long road to recovery for my family and I'm asking you all for help. All the money raised here will go towards food, water, gas, a power supply, repair supplies, travel/displacement expenses, new clothes, and funds to build/restore the house my mom lost.
