Zosia's Training Camp in Thailand

When I first met Zosia, nearly 10 years ago, I immediately felt this amazing connection with her. I’ve never met such a beautiful and humble soul who would have so much gratitude for small things and situations in life that others take for granted. She always sees the good in people, despite many disappointments along the way. What strikes me the most is her real personality, not defined by demands to today’s fake world. I love her with all my heart and long time ago I made this one of my highest priorities – to help her make her dreams come true. Therefore, this year for Zosia’s birthday I would like to do something really special and I need a little help with this...

 

Those of you who know her well, will also know that Muay Thai is the biggest of many passions that she has. But only I know how much time she spends digging for information and studying roots of this spectacular ancient martial art. How it's steeped in age-old traditions and is an important part of Thai culture.. honestly, she could run tutorials on this. She deeply feels and truly understands the spirit of it.  She has a lot of respect for this sport, and unlike for many, this has never been about the money for her.

In the evenings, before her training sessions, I see her making notes and crafting every class she runs at the gym the next morning with so much care and consideration for who is attending the class - and she doesn't even get annoyed when some of you cancel last minute lol 

 

Her biggest dream has always been to go for a proper muay thai camp to Thailand for as longs as she could financially afford. This, due to many obstacles along the way, she could never fulfill. And I think she 100% deserves it!

 

You will know that in this sport retirement comes a lot sooner.. so this may well be her last chance to spread her wings, fulfill her potential and make a use of true talent  that she has.

 

I've organised this fundraiser hoping that together we can help her achieve this. And years worth of dedication will pay off.

 

For this cause I intend to climb the highest mountain in the UK - Ben Nevis via Carn Mor Dearg Arête route , and you are welcome to join me. I will set the date for some weekend after Zosia’s birthday (16 May). Days will be longer and hopefully clearer for a safer hike and beautiful views. For those who decide to join me I will set up a separate group chat.
