Zory Zenith of Zolar X needs your help!

We are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Zory Zenith, our bandmate and life-long friend. Zory and I (Ygarr) go back to 1973 when I first met him in Los Angeles when he became the lead singer for Zolar X. Zory was the first to do robot-mime on a Rock stage and to have a ray gun on his hip. He is also a lyricist and conceptual designer, creating some of our costumes and hugely impacting our band’s presence on planet Earth.

He now has COPD and had an awful flare a few weeks ago where he could not breathe and was hospitalized. The COPD flare-up was almost fatal, and the stress on his body from the flare also caused him to have a heart attack. With COPD, flare-ups may cause permanent lung damage, and he needs medication and equipment, but his insurance will not cover some of these items. His current regimen consists of treatments using a heavy oxygen tank, which disperses medication to his lungs. Unfortunately, the heavy equipment also confines him to the inside of his home. He is in need of a portable oxygen concentrator that will allow mobility to do everyday things like walk to the market and go to Dr. appointments. Due to his rent going up and needed medications and equipment (not covered by insurance), we are asking for donations in any amount, no matter how small.
