Help Rebuild Zorooma Primary School: Where My Journey Began
Donation protected
My name is Jackson Kaguri, and I am writing to you with a heart full of gratitude and a deep sense of urgency. Many of you know my story: I grew up in a small village in Uganda, where education was a gift, not a given. Zorooma Primary School was my beacon of hope, the place where I learned to read, dream, and aspire for a better future. It was there, in a simple classroom with dirt floors and wooden benches, that the seeds of Nyaka were planted—a commitment to give children in my community a chance to rise above their circumstances, just as I did.
Today, Zorooma Primary School lies in ruins.
Recently, high winds swept through my home village, tearing down the walls and roof of Zorooma. The classrooms are no longer safe for children, and learning has come to a standstill. For these children, education is not just a pathway to opportunity—it is their lifeline. Without it, their futures are in jeopardy.
I am calling on all of you—our global Nyaka family, friends, and supporters—to help rebuild Zorooma Primary School.
We need to raise $6,000 to reconstruct the school, ensuring it is stronger, safer, and ready to withstand the challenges of the future. This is more than just bricks and cement; it is a chance to restore hope to an entire community.
Your contribution will go directly toward:
• Rebuilding classrooms: Ensuring children have a safe space to learn.
• Reinforcing the school structure: Building a stronger, wind-resistant facility.
Zorooma was my launchpad, my sanctuary, and the beginning of my dreams. Now, it is time to give back to the place that gave me everything. Together, we can rebuild Zorooma Primary School and ensure that generations of children can continue to dream, learn, and achieve greatness.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to reopening those doors. If you cannot give today, please share this campaign with your network. Your voice is just as powerful as your gift.
Thank you for standing with me, for believing in the power of education, and for helping us rebuild not just a school, but a brighter future.
With gratitude and hope,
