Hello Everyone,
Thank all of you for taking the time out of your busy lives to read this. During these trying times, it's tough to make ends meet so your consideration is deeply appreciated.
My name is Chad Ramsey. I'm the youngest of 2 boys. Growing up, we never had much. We barely made it by just living off of welfare and the retail job money my mother, Zoreh Ramsey, was working to provide for me and my brother. She was left to raise two boys on her own and did her utmost to make sure we had what we needed. She has been a beacon of strength and guidance my whole life and she is honestly my hero. Throughout all of life's agony and pain, she stood tall and did what needed to get done to pull herself out of poverty. She gave us a life, not full of material goods but a life full of love and happiness. She showed my brother and I what it meant to love someone as only a parent can. My mother is the most generous person I know. She will give you her last dollar to make you happy. She would always sacrifice herself for others when she could and never complained. She is my inspiration. She beat breast cancer twice! It would seem nothing could stop her.
So it is with a heavy heart I'm writing this. Recently, my mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. The cancer has spread to her bones. She had some surgery to remove some of the cancer, unfortunately, it's spread to places that cannot be operated on. The doctor stated that she cannot work and if she has one fall, she will most likely lose a leg. She has physical therapy weekly to assist with walking which will eventually end and will require some out of pocket cost. She is also going through chemo to keep the cancer at bay. The doctor is monitoring her treatment to she how she responds but ultimately, the cancer will never go away.
To make matters worse, just before she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, my grandmother passed away. She fell ill while my mother was visiting me in Florida and when my mother flew home, my grandmother passed away.
With the stage of cancer and her inability to work due to the cancer, her expenses and bills are piling up and we are having a difficult time covering it all each month. We have been helping as best as we can but are unable to cover all of her expenses and keep our own families afloat. We would like to raise enough money to pay off any debts so that she can use her fixed income to cover her recurring expenses such as water, power, internet etc.
She currently has two credit cards that are maxed out due to medical bills for herself, her mother, and for her mother's funeral. She also still owes on her car. The funds would help pay off her car and credit cards and provide her with enough money to cover her mortgage, food, etc. until things can go back to normal and we can plan on moving her with myself or my brother.
Thank you again for taking the time to read through my mother's tale. I know it's hard on everyone right now and to ask for such a donation is mountainous in it's request. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for even considering to donate to help a wonderful person in such a grave time of need.
I wish you all the best!
Sincerely,
Chad Ramsey
