zora's medical expenses and recovery
Donation protected
zora has been my cat since i was 17 and is my whole world. we've had a scary week and after 2 trips to the veterinary ER it's still undetermined what exactly the issue is. after her first round of medication they were hopeful this would pass but due to her continued symptoms i was instructed to bring her back in. our second visit confirmed there's no signs of infection but her x-rays are a point of concern as they're unable to tell what exactly they've found. the vet and i are both crossing our fingers that with her new treatment plan she'll be able to work through this but if symptoms still don't improve over the next week, she'll need an ultrasound to better see what they found on the x-rays and further medical care from there.
with the price estimates for the next steps on top of the current ER bills i'm looking at $3000+. i just recently had to manage car repairs and financial stress around my own medication, so this isn't something i can afford right now, but hearing the vet say that aside from this she's in great shape for her age, i'll do whatever i have to do to get her through this.
this isn't a small amount of money and i know times are tough, so if donating isn't an option please keep her in your thoughts. she's definitely got some good years ahead of her and i'm so excited to see her fully recover and get back to herself after all this.
