Zora's Emergency Surgery Vet Bill

To know her is to love her!

Early this holiday season, Zora stopped eating. After a visit at her usual vet, we found she had a tumor on her spleen and needed emergency surgery that day. It was blocking her stomach, causing her lack of appetite. In a panic, I took her to Bridger Vet Specialists and they removed the VERY large tumor as well as her spleen. Up to this point, Zora has been a healthy dog and had even been given a clean bill of health at her check-up in late August. What a shock to see such a massive growth.

I'm so glad I made the decision to have the surgery that saved her life. She is 100% recovered now, to the relief of all her friends, canine and otherwise. And after a very stressful extended waiting period, the biopsy results show that the tumor is NOT cancerous. What a relief!

However, my finances have not recovered so well. After some (a lot) of coaxing from friends, and I'm still not exactly comfortable asking for help in this way, I have decided to set up this gofundme. So, if you have something to spare for our sweet Zora, I'd be very grateful.

$6K was the cost of the surgery itself, there are more vet bills from the rest of the care, but I can take care of that. I need help with the one big ol' bill.
