Zooey’s Medical Bills

Hi, Friends and Fam,

As most of you know, my beloved one blue eyed bestie, Zooey, has had a ton of medical issues with little answers since September of 2022. There have been ER visits, intense medicine schedules, and a myriad of tests resulting in only more questions.

I have pet insurance for my favorite girl, but even that policy has been nearly maxed with several months left to a reset. On 1/2/23, my partner Terry took Zooey to a specialist in Santa Barbara after a routine vet check turned into an emergency. The bill for the next 24 hours is estimated at $8,000, and the majority of that will need to be out of pocket. I am currently back on the East Coast with family, and am unable to be with my girl.

I don’t like to ask for help, especially financially. But if you know me, you know how much this silly pup means to me. And if you know her, I’m sure you at least partially get it. I’ll do everything in my power to keep her going.

If you’re able to contribute, I’d love to be able to continue Zooeys journey to a diagnosis and hopeful recovery. Even if you cannot contribute financially, we will take all the good vibes we can get.
