I'm Liam Ghul, a 27-year-old artist from Chicago. I'm looking to raise funds for my next film, "Zombie Cherry". It takes place in a world where all the monsters of Halloween are real, but only allowed to be in their true forms on Halloween. We follow a group of monster/musician friends who have botched a spell designed for them to achieve artistic success, leading to it being used against them. The film is about outsiders, which we all seem to be more and more of in the modern world.
We are ready to go and shoot in October, just need the funding.
I believe that films are a spiritual experience, both in creation and in consumption. I'm asking questions that I don't have the answers to with this project, and I hope we can find them along the way. If not, at least it may deepen the conversation a little bit. I have always felt like an outsider, but I take pride in that, and I know the path I chose as an artist and what that entails. The roads of our lives are so complicated, especially as creators, and it's funny how much art can come out of trauma.
I know that I am going to make a beautiful film, and I would be honored if any of you helped. Whether that's giving money, sharing, or even just watching.
The money would be going to production costs, paying workers, etc.
Thank you. Luv u all
