**Since she needs care the rest of her life, there really is no end to how much money we'll need. I hope one day this all slows down and I can afford it on my own. Thank you again for the donations, shares and support during this terrible time.

Even though I always prepare for the worst, I still hope for best cuz I think maybe just this once - life will give us a break. But these blows are getting harder and harder and I don't know how to keep doing it.

I try not to bother with all the details but with all the help we've received recently, I feel like I should. I have been struggling to survive for about 6 yrs. The world has only gotten more and more expensive and no longer allows single income households. Being just that, I've had to adapt. We left Seattle right before covid and then had to deal with the exact same problems with housing in Montana. I couldn't pay bills without credit cards so we left and started over. AGAIN.

Most of you know we relocated halfway across the country last May. 4 months after that, Tilly had to get TPLO (which I'm still paying off), 2 months after that, I very unexpectedly lost my job. I was out of work for almost 2 1/2 months and to say it was hard would be an understatement.

Now Zoey needs her second TPLO. I pushed it off as long as I can. She can't play or even go for short walks without feeling it. She is in pain every day and it's breaking me. Insurance isn't an option since her first leg is a "preexisting condition", so I'm looking at $4-$7k for surgery and rehab. Surgery consult is scheduled for March 22nd with surgery shortly after but I have us on the waiting list to hopefully get her in sooner. This girl will make me die in debt but I would do it over and over to make sure her final years are everything and more
