On December 9th, my sister got a call from my nieces doctor saying she needed to take my niece to the children’s hospital as soon as possible due to her blood work being abnormal. Soon after we arrived to the hospital my niece was diagnosed with leukemia. As heart wrenching as this is, my niece keeps her spirits high and says she’s ready to fight this disease and go back home. If you know her, you know she steals hearts with her witty self but you also know she has the biggest heart you’ve ever met. This little girl makes friends everywhere she goes! My favorite story is her telling me her friend works at StaterBros, I kept wondering “what in the world is she talking about”, as we are checking out, she tells me the cash register lady is her friend . Oh my gosh she is just something else! But this is Zoey! She’s the strongest little girl I know and we have faith that this will be just an inspiring story for another little girl.

My sister is 7 months pregnant and I just can’t bear the pain she must be going through. God bless them . So please join my family and I by donating whatever you can to help my sister and nieces through these next few months. Any help is welcome and greatly appreciated.

El 9 de diciembre, mi hermana recibió una llamada del médico de mi sobrina diciendo que necesitaba llevar a mi sobrina al hospital infantil lo antes posible debido a que sus análisis de sangre eran anormales. Poco después de llegar al hospital, a mi sobrina le diagnosticaron leucemia. A pesar de lo desgarrador que es, mi sobrina mantiene el ánimo en alto y dice que está lista para luchar contra esta enfermedad y volver a casa. Si la conoces, sabes que roba corazones con su ingenio, pero también sabes que tiene el corazón más grande que jamás hayas conocido. ¡Esta niña hace amigos donde quiera que vaya! Mi historia favorita es cuando me dice que su amiga trabaja en StaterBros, me preguntaba "¿de qué diablos está hablando?", mientras nos registramos, me dice que la señora de la caja registradora es su amiga. ¡Oh, Dios mío, ella es solo otra cosa! ¡Pero esta es Zoey! Es la niña más fuerte que conozco y tenemos fe en que esta será solo una historia inspiradora para otra niña.

Mi hermana tiene 7 meses de embarazo y no puedo soportar el dolor por el que debe estar pasando. Dios los bendiga . Así que únase a mi familia y a mí donando lo que pueda para ayudar a mi hermana y sobrinas durante los próximos meses. Cualquier ayuda es bienvenida y muy apreciada.
