Send Zoe to Yoga and Oncology Training Conference
Hi Everyone! I'm Zoe Ho, a yoga teacher and therapist (ERYT-500), and a breast cancer survivor going through the final stages of chemo. Chemotherapy is a terrible process as is the cancer recovery journey, for patients and their loved ones. I'm grateful to say that as I navigate through the worst of it, I'm now sharing what I've learnt of mindfulness, self-love and self-care to help those battling cancer.
Life throws us curveballs that seem too large to handle, but we can make space to hold whatever comes up. Those attending my classes have been amazed by their own innate courage and strength, and I'm moved to continue this work, touched by each unique story they share. My focus is not only to help people navigate cancer, but also the many life challenges that comes up in our common experience of being human.
Last weekend, a very kind soul was moved to offer me her ticket to the Yoga and Oncology Training onference in Texas after attending my Yoga for Cancer class at the Vancouver Yoga Expo. Training to blend yoga and western medicine strategies for cancer, sounds like a divine gift! I'm so grateful for her generosity. However it's in Houston... far from where I live in Vancouver, and I need help with flights and accomodation... I will need about $1000 by Oct 8th. May I seek your assistance? However much you can give will help me learn so that I can deepen my ability to navigate this journey and connect with more people working to help others. I know I will share what I've learnt and also help other teachers who are on this path. I hope you will watch my online videos and see my facebook page and know that you are supporting a meaningful endeavor.
With much gratitude,
Zoe
