Zoe's London Marathon for Frocks for Freedom
Firstly, thank you for clicking to get here. I'm taking part in the London Marathon on 27 April. The challenge is big, the months of training are really tough, but I am lucky to have a place, be able to take part and most importantly have chosen to raise funds and awareness for Frocks for Freedom. This amazing cause helps those without a voice 'animals' and volunteers who work tirelessly to give them a future. I'm lucky enough to have known Lisa (founder of FFF) for over 20 years and know that every penny will go to the right place. I'll be proud to fly the FFF flag at London.
Why Frocks for Freedom?
Lisa Poole set up Frocks For Freedom (FFF) in March 2018, it was a day dream she had regularly whilst sitting in traffic at the Dartford Crossing!
All she wanted to do was help those who help animals in need. She loved clothes and wondered if she could combine the two - and so Frocks For Freedom was born!
She sells pre-loved and brand new donated ladies clothes, shoes and accessories, by auction on social media, every 2 weeks, and every single penny goes to small, volunteer run animal rescues both in the UK and Overseas.
In 7 years FFF has raised over £83,000 and helped around 100 rescues, supporting the very special humans who make it their life's mission to save animals lives.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. I will add updates and a final one after the event with details of where the money raised has made a difference.
