Zoe’s hysterectomy!

Hi!!

TLDR: I’m having a hysterectomy on May 1st for endometriosis treatment and need support

I just found out that I likely have endometriosis and I’m going to need surgery on May 1st. If they are correct I’m getting a hysterectomy to hopefully treat the unbearable pain and other debilitating symptoms. Unfortunately being a self employed hairstylist means I don’t have any PTO or sick leave. Recovery will likely be at least 6-8 weeks before I’m able to go back to a job where I stand and move around all day. Logistically I cannot afford to take that kind of time off with no income and I really don’t want to rush back to work and end up hurting myself. I will be working my bum off at both of my jobs until they wheel me in for surgery but I need help. I know there’s so many people in need right now and it’s so hard to ask for help. I am so appreciative of this community and so lucky to have the support that I have! I’m really looking forward to feeling like myself again. $4,800 covers my rent at home and at the salon for two months. If anyone has any questions I’m an open book!
