Zoe's ear floof fundraiser: Lend a hand for her medical

Donation protected
Zoe decided eating, much less moving, was not a good idea. I was away at the time taking care of my 87-year-old mom, and a kitty sitter took her into the emergency vet.

On a Tuesday evening, I got a concerned text from one sitter. She didn't want to move off the heaty. She didn't want food. Totally out of character for her. The next morning, same thing. Gave her one more try, and when she didn't eat Wednesday dinner, she got taken to the ER.

Diagnosis: chronic kidney disease and pancreatitis were causing this. She was dehydrated. The ultrasound showed several other things, but these two were the main issues at the moment.

Zoe was rescued by South Texas Persian Rescue on July 4, 2011. I adopted her in February of 2012. She's almost 16 and has lived a good, spoiled life. Her ear floof is her most endearing quality, along with her classic Persian expression. Everyone has to take pics of the ear floof. Even the ultrasound tech.

Normally, I'd find a way to get this expense taken care of on my own. This time, I need help. I had rotator cuff surgery on 4/24/25 and spent six weeks in a sling. I'm a massage and craniosacral therapist, so as you can imagine, I have been limited in my ability to work. I've tapped all my reserves, and while Zoe's ER vet bill is currently on my Care Credit card, I've got six months of 0% interest to get a $5k bill paid. I humbly ask your help.
