Zoë's Funeral

This is a photo of my older sister, Mercedes, and her baby girl, Zoë. My sister had to have an emergency c-section on April 12th due to complications from her severe preeclampsia. From the moment she was born Zoë showed she was a fighter. This beautiful baby girl was able to do skin to skin with her mother and father in the NICU multiple times a day and thrived when doing so. When our family would visit she would hold onto our fingers as a way of showing us her love.  Even all of the nurses would repeatedly say how strong Zoë was for only being 2lbs 6oz. Unfortunately, on April 14th Zoë's heart rate suddenly dropped and the NICU team tried to resuscitate her. She fought for her life for three hours but shortly after passed away in her parent's arms. On April 14th we lost our niece Zoë but heaven gained an Angel.  My sister, Mercedes, and brother, Christian, were the best parents Zoë could have asked for. She brought them a love like no other and happiness that could never be explained. They loved Zoë with everything they had. At this time, we are asking for any donations to help with funeral and medical costs. This is such a hard time and we are all in shock still but any donations would be very much appreciated.
