Zoe's 2019 State Street Ballet Summer Intensive

Hello, my name is Zoe. I’ve auditioned for, and was accepted to, the State Street Ballet Summer Intensive program for my second time in Santa Barbara, CA (June-July 2019). I previously and attended in the summer of 2017. I had learned so much during my time there and going back would be so incredible. Dance has been a passion of mine since I was young. I started originally at the age of five and continued dancing off and on; taking classes whenever and wherever I was able to. Starting ballet with Joey Rodgers and Soleste Lupu at Dancing In The Streets, AZ  nearly three years ago has impacted me and my drive for dance immensely. Dance is something I can certainly see myself doing in the future. It allows a way of expression that words could never articulate. Being able to attend the State Street ballet intensive would benefit my training greatly; meaning, I could grow and continue doing what I love! The expenses are as follows: *Tuition: $1975 minus partial scholarship of $987.50 = $987.50 *Housing: $2500 *Weekend activities: $80.00 (1 each weekend) *Pointe shoes: $300 (3 pairs at $90/pair, plus the cost of ribbon, elastic, toe pads and wool) *Travel cost: $400 for gas, etc. (Drop off and pick up since I am a minor and will need to be signed in) *Ballet shoes (flats): $30 *Jazz shoes: $35 Character shoes: $40 Total: 4337.50 We’re looking to raise $4500 (the additional funds would be for GoFundMe fees and miscellaneous leotards, skirts and accessories) Your support, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, is so greatly appreciated beyond words!
