peace and love family!
my name is zoe austrie. i am a 28 year old mother, freelance artist/creative, plant-based chef, and entrepreneur located in the DMV. if i am not spending time with my 4 year old daughter, Aris, you will more than likely find me in the kitchen whipping up a delicious vegan meal (follow on instagram @zoescreativekitchen for more!) or painting an abstract art piece (@zoeticreation). i’ve had the joy and privilege of being born and raised in Northern Virginia amongst a diverse community. i have so much love and gratitude for my hometown as my experience here has been such an essential part in forming who i am today; however, my Spirit is now calling for me to venture to new land.
2020 has been a year that none of us will soon forget. it has truly been eye-opening as it has been filled with so much loss, tragedy, and seclusion as the world overcomes adversity. being a full-time freelance artist during a global pandemic has been such a . challenging yet rewarding experience. there has been so much “down time” for me to truly harness my crafts, find direction for my business ventures, and invest in myself; however, a consistent income has not been apart of my experience. it is undoubtable that the state of this country and our world is uncertain. there are many policies being upheld & instilled that do not resonate with my being or sustain an environment where i would like to raise my child and future children. with that being said, my spirit has been called to venture to Tulum, Mexico and am starting this gofundme to raise the funds to do so in early spring of 2021. ALL donations will go towards necessary documentation, tickets and travel, supplies, and housing.
Donations of $200 or more will receive a custom 1-of-1 piece painted by @zoeticreation as mark of gratitude for your contribution. Please note that your custom piece will be valued at the price you donate. For example, should a donation of $500 be received, the quality and dimensions of your piece will reflect that of your donation.
i am a firm believer in allowing your intuition to guide you and in my spiritual journey i am JUST now learning to truly LISTEN. there is a voice inside you that is always present, gently leading you in the direction you must take. much of our lives we have been conditioned to silence that voice and allow the voice(s) of others to take over and consume us, taking away from the Truth that we are rooted in. this we must do no more. i take this moment to acknowledge that voice (and the voice inside you) and encourage us all to take heed. there is no coincidence. there is no mistake. only lessons and opportunity for growth.
